I am a resident of Rajasthan and have been working under MGNREGA for the past year. However, my job card is not being updated. What can I do to get my job card updated? Can I file an RTI to know the procedure for job card updating?

3 repliesYou can file an RTI under §6(1) of the RTI Act to know the procedure for job card updating. You can also approach the District Programme Coordinator for assistance.
As per §7(1) of the RTI Act, you can file an RTI to know the procedure for job card updating. You can also approach the Block Development Officer for assistance.
According to the MGNREGA guidelines, job cards are to be updated by the Gram Panchayat. You can approach the Gram Panchayat for getting your job card updated. This is the best course of action.
