I want to know the location of the polling booth in my area. Can someone guide me on how to find this information? Can I file an RTI for this?

Know the practical answer?

You can find the location of the polling booth on the election commission website or by contacting the local election office. You can also file an RTI under §6(1) of the RTI Act, asking for the location of the polling booth.

The location of the polling booth is usually displayed on the notice board of the local election office. You can also ask your booth level officer for the information.

I filed an RTI for the polling booth location but the PIO refused to provide the information. What can I do now?
