MGNREGA Work Site Allotment
I am a resident of Gujarat and have been working under MGNREGA for the past year. However, I have not been allotted any work site. What can I do to get a work site allotted? Can I file an RTI to know the criteria for work site allotment?

3 repliesYou can file an RTI under §6(1) of the RTI Act to know the criteria for work site allotment. You can also approach the District Programme Coordinator for assistance.
As per §10 of the RTI Act, you can seek information in the form of a work site allotment. You can approach the Block Development Officer for assistance.
According to the MGNREGA guidelines, work sites are to be allotted based on the demand for work. You can approach the Gram Panchayat for getting a work site allotted. This is the best course of action.
