Why does my EPF claim keep getting rejected?

The most common reasons are:

  • Your UAN KYC (Aadhaar, PAN or bank) is not verified or not linked
  • Your name or date of birth does not exactly match Aadhaar
  • The employer has not approved your KYC or exit date
  • You filed the wrong form (Form 19 for final settlement, Form 10C for pension, Form 31 for an advance)

The rejection remark on Track Claim Status tells you which one to fix.
