EPIC Card Not Received

I applied for my EPIC card 2 months ago but still haven't received it. I've tried contacting the local election office but they keep saying it's being processed. Can someone help me with an RTI to find out the status of my application? Should I file it with the district collector or the election commission?

Know the practical answer?

Best solution

You can file an RTI with the district collector under §6(1) of the RTI Act, asking for the status of your EPIC card application. Make sure to provide your application details and the date you applied.

I had a similar issue and filed an RTI with the election commission. They replied within a month and my EPIC card was issued soon after. Try that route.

Try contacting the CEO of your state, they have a dedicated team for EPIC card related issues. You can also file a complaint on the CEO website.
