How long does a failed UPI payment take to auto-reverse?

Under RBI's Turn Around Time rules, a failed or pending UPI debit is normally auto-reversed within a few days (typically by T+1, i.e. the next day). If it isn't reversed within the prescribed window, your bank must pay you ₹100 per day of delay as compensation.

Always check your account and app first before complaining, as many reversals happen automatically.
