Starter question based on recurring Ask RTI reader problems: PSU bank froze savings account for KYC despite documents submitted. Need freeze order, deficiency, and reopening timeline.

My account was frozen by the bank due to some suspicious transactions. I filed an RTI to the bank to know the reason for freezing my account, but the PIO refused to provide the information, citing §8(1)(j) of the RTI Act. Is this correct? Can I appeal against this decision?
